Registration Underway for Classes at International Friendship Arts Academy

Providing excellent instruction in music, art and dance  for international children and youth.

  • Location: 3400 University Avenue, Columbus, GA 31907 (inside the Albright’s building)
  • Classes start the middle of August.
  • All of our instructors are exceptionally talented teachers!

Classes Offered:

Piano and Violin lessons—private lessons are available for all ages and levels: 30 minutes–$24 per lesson; 45 minutes–$36 per lesson; or 1 hour–$48 per lesson. Small group classes are available for beginners in different age groups: $18.50 per lesson for 45 minutes.

Art lessons—Monday classes offered at 4-5 p.m. and 5-6 p.m.– $35 a month for 4 weekly lessons.

Dance lessons—Thursday classes offered at 4:30-5:30 p.m. and 5:30-6:30 p.m.– $25 a month for 4 weekly lessons.

Arts Academy Instructors:

PianoDr. Tzu-Yi Chen, an exceptional pianist and teacher; recipient of top awards in pianist competitions; studied music in France, Germany, and the U.S.; has been invited to play at Carnegie Hall in 2014.

ViolinDr. Tzu-Yi Chen, and Boris Abramov, B.M. from the Schwob School of Music in Violin Performance (Cum Laude), awards in numerous violin competitions

ArtDavid Knapp, B.F.A. from CSU, with an emphasis in drawing and painting

DanceStephanie Currie, a very gifted and experienced dance teacher

    I have a seven year old grandson who trends to the artistic. He is not athletic. I have been looking for classes for him to vet involved in that would be enjoyable to him. He likes drawing and music. If you have anything that would interesting.
