My husband is considering accepting a job in Columbus. I have a mildly intellectually disabled son who is a junior in high school. I’m wondering what would be the best area for us to live in regards to school and vocational services for him. Where we are now the school system has a job training program for 18-22 year olds. They work on job sites (for free) after their senior year is complete with a job coach. Does Muscogee county have anything like that? Does any other nearby county? I’d love to chat if someone has time.
