Kindermusik now enrolling for fall 2010

The long, hot days of summer are soon coming to an end, and the crisp leaves of fall float on cool breezes just around the corner. Also around the corner comes a brand new semester of Kindermusik classes.

Now enrolling for Fall semester, 2010!

Registration deadline ~ Thursday, August 5th, 2010.

Registrations after August 5th will have an $15 applied for separate shipping costs. Please register to guarantee your child a place in the class.

First day of class: Monday, August 16th. Classes meet every Monday for 15 weeks.

Class times:
9:15-10am Kindermusik Village (newborns – 18 months)
10:15-11am Our Time (18 months – 3 years)
11:15-12pm Imagine That (3 – 5 years)

Fees: $179/semester, or $194 after August 5th. Includes take-home class materials.

Registration for Summer 2010 Kindermusik Classes

Registration is now underway for Summer 2010 Kindermusik classes. Kindermusik classes last 15 weeks and explore many developmentally appropriate facets of the musical experience such as; speaking and singing, moving, listening, creating and playing percussion instruments.

Registration:

Register by June 14, and save $15. Kindermusik At Home Materials are included within course fees. Depending on their age, children receive professionally recorded CDs of all the music covered in class, picture books, and rhythm instruments and craft supplies.

Youth Orchestra Auditions for 2009-2010 season

Auditions for the 2009-2010 season will be held in the Schwob School of Music at the RiverCenter for the Performing Arts. All interested young musicians in grades 5-12 may audition for a position in either the string or youth symphony orchestras. Call the Executive Director to schedule an audition time.

Each ten-minute audition includes scales, required audition excerpts, and sight reading. Current members of the YOGC must re-audition annually.

Columbus School of Music & Dance is holding its Fall 2009 registration for kids and adults of all ages. Classes are offered in guitar, piano, winds, strings, voice, drums, ballet, jazz, hip-hop, tap, preschool and more!

Since 2001 over 3,000 students have taken classes at our music and dance school, more than at any other studio or school in Columbus, GA and the Chattahoochee valley. We started as a very small school but have grown to become the largest music and dance school in Columbus.
