The Spina Bifida Support Group offers support for expecting parents and parents of children with Spina Bifida. Each meeting provides the opportunity for parents to share and discuss what other parents are experiencing.
We’ll also invite groups and speakers to come and share with us.

Sifting through the procedural safeguards of IDEA (for special needs students) can be confusing. Don’t let that stop you from knowing your rights as a parent.
Navigation to Connections, Georgia’s Parent Training and Information Center, is offering an informative presentation to help you blend all the ingredients of understanding your rights together and ensure your child receives a free and appropriate education in the least restrictive environment.
Participants can expect to gain knowledge about parent rights and understand the applications to their family. Added to the mix, techniques to help develop skills to appropriately convey your child’s strengths and needs will be taught.
