Sayers Memorial Library will host A Mid Summer Night’s Read June 21 – July 22. Sayer’s popular summer reading program will feature good books, good food and good fun! Entertainment is listed below.

Ages: 2 and up
June 21 @ 1:30 pm: Performing artist, Mr. Eric, a guitar strumming, book writing, harmonica blowing, banjo picking, song singing artist who plays interactive music to tell stories and bring books to life.
June 29 @ 1 pm: Oxbow Meadows Environmental Learning Center reptile exhibition
July 12 @ 1 pm: Flying Debris Show comedic juggler, Todd Key is a one man club throwing, ball spinning, ladder balancing torch manipulating comedy extravaganza.
July 19 @ 1 pm: HERO Quest Magic Show by Carey Huddlestun
July 22 @ 1:30 pm, 2:30 pm & 3:30 pm: World renowned puppeteer Peter Hart will perform three puppet shows filled with music, color, action, audience participation and unique marionette puppets.

If you are military or live on Fort Benning, be sure to visit the Sayers Memorial Library. The library is open Monday – Thursday from 9 a.m. – 8 p.m., and Friday, Saturday & Sunday from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
The library offeres the following ongoing programs and activities for families and children:
Pre-school Story Time – Every Tuesday and Wednesday at 11 a.m. Come join us for fun stories & activities with your youngster!
Americans Girls Book Club – The first Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. Learn & read about a different American Girl every month.
Family Fun Time – First Sunday of each month at 2:00 p.m. Activities for the youngsters to enjoy, including special visitors and games.
