We did it, but the makeup and all kind of turned us off. Don't get me wrong, the makeup at a glitz pageant is not as much as at a dance recital, or that my young teen daughter has to wear for cheer. Anyway, we found a pageant called NAM, National American Miss, whose focus is on building leadership, service and communication. They do not allow makeup. It was an amazing event for my daughter.
