Get up close and personal with aerobatic and other aircraft!

Aerobatic aircraft similar to those which will perform at the Thunder in the Valley Air Show will be towed from the airport that morning and put on display between Kinnucan’s and Crepe Myrtle Café in the northeast corner of “The Landings II.
Members of the local chapter of the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA Chapter 677) will be joined by representatives of Thunder in the Valley Air Show and local pilots to present a wide variety of aviation-based information, including:
- An introduction to hot air ballooning
- The challenges of aerobatics
- Local opportunities to pursue the dream of learning to fly
- Young Eagles introductory flights for children age 8 to 17
- Eagle Flights for adults age 18 and older
- Flying lessons through Skyline Columbus
- Other options for learning to fly hot air balloons, gliders, and helicopters
- Career opportunities in aviation
Additionally, discounted tickets to the March 16 and 17 Thunder in the Valley Air Show will be available for purchase.
