Blueberry Picking Day
Saturday, August 14, 2010
4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Last group admitted to the blueberry patch at 7:30 p.m.
Do you like home grown, organic blueberries (no fertilizer, pesticides – completely natural)?
Come pick as many blueberries as you want at The Rock Ranch! The berries are free! Our blueberries are grow in a 3-acre patch nestled in the woods in a remote location toward to back of the 1250-acre property of The Rock Ranch.
Bring your own shade, water, bug spray, sunscreen, chairs and containers to carry the berries. Also bring snacks, if you like, and be sure to watch out for rattlesnakes!
To participate, enter at the main entrance (by the cowboy statue) and follow the signs to the gravel parking area by the new barn. Families will be transported to and from the blueberry patch in a deuce-and-a-half army truck.
Location: 5020 Barnesville Highway, The Rock, GA, 30285
Info: 706.647.6374
NOTE: No admission fee. You MUST be a member of The Rock Ranch’s e-mail newsletter OR a fan of their facebook fan page to participate! No other attractions will be open that day!
