Do you wish your kids would eat more vegetables? Bring them to the MercyMed farm! Best of all – This event is free!
Enjoy a Fall Festival with a twist. Your kids can join the veggie celebration on a real, working vegetable farm in the middle of Columbus. (We harvested 9,000 pounds of veggies so far this year). If you wish your child was excited about even one veggie, skip the drive to the country and enjoy a beautiful slice of nature on 2nd Avenue at the MercyMed Farm.
Your kids will get caught up in the excitement of our Collards Cook-Off Competition. For a $5 donation to MercyMed Farm you can purchase voting tickets to taste the Collard Greens and vote for your favorite contestant.
There will be Family Friendly live music, Farmer’s Market vendors, and Food Trucks serving up soul food. Bring lawn chairs and a blanket to enjoy a cup of hot cocoa from our Hot Chocolate Stand.
