Earth Day Celebration with The Ray
April 27 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm EDTFree
Join The Ray at the LaGrange Memorial Library for a full day of Earth Day celebrations Saturday, April 27th from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM. The free, family-friendly community event has something for everyone. There’s storytime for the littlest members of the family, crafts, and experiments for the kids, and several talks for the grown-ups. Hear from EV drivers about what it’s really like to drive electric in LaGrange (and maybe even go for a ride in one!) and from Harriet Anderson Langford, founder, and president of The Ray.
The Ray is nonprofit organization named in memory of Ray Anderson, green industrialist, and an 18 mile stretch of I-85 between LaGrange and the Alabama boarder that serves as a public, living transportation lab for technology and innovations that make driving safer, smarter, and more sustainable.
