It’s time for Oxbow’s 12th annual Insectival! This creepy, crawly, fun, family event will show you just how important insects are for a healthy environment.
Take a dragonfly hike with Oxbow naturalists, examine carnivorous plants with The Nature Conservancy, or watch the fascinating work of honeybees in the Chattahoochee Valley Beekeepers Association’s display hive. Catch bugs with extension agent Jennifer Davidson, and learn about Insect CSI from CSU Professor of Biology, Dr. George Stanton.
Feeling adventurous? Try your hand at cricket spitting or purchase some tasty bug snacks! This special Second Sunday program will run from 2-4pm.
