Northside Parks & Rec has developed a sports/ physical education program and arts program for homeschoolers. Classes meet every 1st and 3rd Monday of the month from 2-4pm, starting September 10, 2018. Come and enjoy a time of sports, fitness, and creativity. This event is to encourage and inspire those who are currently fighting cancer and to honor those who courageously fought the battle and are no longer with us. Empty Bowl is a grassroots national event to raise awareness about hunger. Tickets can be purchased online (new this year) or at the door as it has been in the past. Attendees select an already washed bowl out of hundreds created or decorated with love by local adults and children.
